How to plan a Korea trip with W-Trip

Start with a public route or generate a plan, then check the details and make it your own.

1. Choose an existing route or describe your trip

Open Explore to browse public itineraries. This is useful when you want to see a concrete sequence of places before deciding what to include. Inspect the itinerary details and its source information where provided.

For a personalized starting point, open the AI planner. Choose your destination, number of days, interests, and budget level. Add a start date if you know it. For example, you might request three days in Seoul with culture and food interests and a moderate budget. Sign in when prompted to generate the plan.

2. Read the proposed days before following the route

Review the places in each day and their order. Use the map and external map links to check where each stop is. When location data is missing, a name-based search can help you identify the intended place.

Suggested times and transfers are planning aids. Confirm current routes and travel times in your chosen map or transport service. Check that each day suits your pace and that the places match your interests.

3. Save a personal copy and edit it

Sign in to copy a public itinerary into your own trip. Work on that copy to change the trip details and organize stops across days. You can also return to AI-generated plans in My Trips.

Keep the number of stops realistic for your own travel style. Review the route again after moving or removing places; the original sequence may no longer fit your revised day.

4. Confirm venue and booking details

Use venue and provider information to confirm opening days, opening hours, admission requirements, and reservations. Booking links may open an external search page; prices and availability are determined by that provider.

An itinerary does not reserve a room, restaurant, ticket, or transport seat. Complete any booking with the provider and keep its confirmation separately.

5. Keep the plan available during your trip

Add dates to your saved trip to use the Today view. The app also supports calendar export and link sharing from itinerary details. A sharing link is for its recipients; it is separate from publishing an itinerary to Explore.

If you use the installed app’s offline copy, open and sync the trip while connected before relying on it. Offline copies reflect the last saved data, and external maps and booking services may still need a connection.
